For Feedback 5 I completed this presentation with an outline on the work completed so far and the sketches and ideas put forward for the Projects for Year 3.
Feedback on this has been helpful, and from this point the focus will move towards Project 2 for the next while, with a view on exploring the potential of how to best complete this project and what format would best represent it.
The volume of work completed this far has been massive, so the main focus is now being put towards how best to curate the work done and how to express the outcomes from the Projects, whether they were met or are still being met.
Something that is becoming very clear is the time needed to engage with the Projects and how difficult it can be to balance work and study. Realistically, the Projects that were taking time were 1 and 3. I thought these might be the ones that I would finish for this unit, but they need more time to develop and for the research to be dived into a little more.
Based on this observation and coupled with the fact that time for this unit is coming to a close, Project 2 has become my focus and I’ll address the Feedback from this point onwards to this Project only.
The other Projects may or may not be revisited in the next unit. I’m learning to become comfortable in the space between things, understanding that not finishing is okay and not returning to a project might be okay too.
This is a new way of doing things but it is certainly how things are progressing. Further insights into my process and how my practice has been evolving will follow in the next parts.
